The artist Reinaldo Vargas was born in Havana, Cuba on January 7, 1961. He graduated from the La Escuela De Bellas Artes San Alejandro in Havana in 1981. From 1981 to 1984, he taught drawing in La Casa De La Cultura while he worked for a cinematography company in Havana as a poster designer. In 1993, he decided to emigrate to Europe due to the political situation in Cuba. After four years in Paris, France, Reinaldo chose to move to Atlanta, Georgia USA, where he currently resides.
